What does this indicator measure?

These indicators show leukemia rates among males and females from 2005 to 2009. Accordign to the NAtional Cancer Institute, leukemia is a cancer that starts in blood-forming tissue and causes large numbers of abnormal blood cells to be produced and enter the bloodstream.
